The camera has a so-called fixed focus lens and a field of view of 85 degrees. Fixed focus means that the camera's image is in focus over a large area.
With lens cover
An absolutely important aspect for us is the protection of your privacy. For this reason, we have attached a lens cover to the camera that you can easily fold down if you do not want to use your webcam. In this way, you can ensure that strangers cannot see anything if your camera is being accessed by unauthorized persons. You can also control the operation of your webcam with an LED that lights up when the camera is actively in use.Flexible options for attachment
So that you can attach the M-Cam to your computer screen (without scratching it), we have attached a rubber coating to the bracket. This prevents slipping so that the camera stays exactly where it should be. How far away your PC is from the screen only plays a limited role because the M-Cam's cable is 1.5 meters long.
However, if you do not want to attach the camera to your monitor, we have also attached a ¼-inch tripod mount to its base / clip. You can use it to mount the webcam on a tripod, for example.
Integrated microphone
Incidentally, microphones are built into the M-Cam, so you don't have to buy one to use the camera. As already mentioned at the beginning: Plug in and off you go.
